Print wristbands for a night
Color-coded Tyvek wristbands with each guest's table or seat in big print, plus a pick list.
Who can do this: your organizer logins and MainGate admins.
- In Manage Events, open More on the event and click Print Wristbands.
- Pick the Night. You get one wristband per admission ticket sold for that night (no parking, merch or cancelled tickets), sorted by table.
- Choose what goes on each band: guest's name, order number, event / artist name and the ticket type. The table or seat is always printed big.
- Click Pick list (plain paper) and print it on regular paper. It shows how many bands each section and table needs.
- Under Sections to print, click only this next to the first section (e.g. VIP), load that color of wristbands and click Print. Repeat for each section and color.
First time on a computer
- Wristbands: Mr-Label Tyvek Printable Wristbands (¾" × 10", 10 per sheet, inkjet). MainGate is set up for this exact sheet (250 × 190 mm); other brands won't line up. Use an inkjet printer (laser printers can warp Tyvek).
- Paper size: add a custom size of 250 × 190 mm (9.84" × 7.48") named "Wristbands" in your printer settings (the page shows the steps for Windows and Mac).
- Every time: paper size Wristbands, scale 100% / Actual size, margins None, headers and footers off.
- Line it up: print the Alignment test page on one sheet. If it's a little off, nudge Right / Down (1/32" steps) and bookmark the page; it remembers the numbers.
Tip: Partly used sheet? Put it back in and set Skip first to the number of bands already used.
