Sell tickets on your website (MainFrame)
Put a Buy Tickets button, or the whole ticket section, on your own site.
MainFrame is on for new accounts. If you don't see the codes below, ask us.
One event
- Open the event → Advanced → Event Embed Code.
- Pick a code and click Copy code:
Option 1 (Simplest): a Buy Tickets Now button that opens the tickets in a pop-up.
Option 2: the whole ticket section right on your page. It grows to fit, so buyers never scroll inside a box. - Your page already shows the event picture and description? Tick Tickets only first, and the tickets show without them on every step.
- Event not published yet? Leave Preview on my website before publishing ticked (it is ticked for you while the event is unpublished). The event shows on your site with a PREVIEW bar so you can check it, but nobody can buy until you publish. After you publish, the same code keeps working.
- In your website editor (Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow…), add an Embed code or Custom HTML block where the tickets should go, paste the code and publish.
What buyers see
- An event with 7 dates or fewer shows one box per date. More dates show a calendar.
- After they tap a date, each time is a button with the time on top and its label (like "Little Bouncer Session") under it.
- A one-event code shows your event picture and name above the dates (unless Tickets only is ticked).
- Prices show the all-in price first, with fees listed under it. See Ticket fees.
All your events
My Account → Edit Profile → Embed & Branding has a View Upcoming Events code with a calendar of all your events.
- Buyers check out without leaving your site, in your colors. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too.
- You can put several events on one page. Each code keeps its own settings.
- A small "Powered by MainGate Tickets" badge shows under the button unless MainGate branding is turned off for your account.
Tip: Use Option 1 if your site has a sticky header or footer, or the ticket section looks squished or cut off. The pop-up always opens above everything on the page.
