Please contact the event organizer directly. Their contact information is on the event page and in your ticket email. Include your order number and the name and email used for the purchase. Each organizer sets its own refund policy, and some events are "no refunds or exchanges."
If the organizer approves a refund, it is issued to the original payment method. Refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. Whether ticket fees are included in a refund is up to the event organizer.
Some events offer a Refundable Booking option at checkout. It is provided by Ticket RBO, a separate company. If you bought it and cannot attend for one of the covered reasons (for example illness or injury, a vehicle breakdown, jury service or a death in the immediate family), submit a claim directly to Ticket RBO and include the documentation they require, such as a doctor's note, repair receipt or court summons.
Submit claims to submit@ticketrbo.com. Covered reasons, deadlines and required documents are listed in the Ticket RBO terms and conditions. Ticket RBO reviews and pays approved claims. MainGate and the event organizer cannot approve or deny Refundable Booking claims.
If you chose a non-refundable booking, any refund is at the discretion of the event organizer as described above.
If an event is canceled, the event organizer is required to offer ticket holders either a transfer to a future available date or a refund for their purchase. The organizer or MainGate will contact you at the email address on your order with your options.
If an event is rescheduled, the organizer or MainGate will contact you with the new date and time as soon as possible. In most cases your tickets are automatically moved to the new date and stay valid, so there is nothing you need to do. If you cannot attend the new date, contact the event organizer. Refunds for rescheduled events are at the discretion of the organizer or venue.
Some organizers allow you to change the date you attend. For example, if you bought tickets for Saturday but Sunday works better, email the organizer and ask for a ticket swap. If it is possible, the organizer will make your current tickets valid on the new day. New tickets are not sent out. Not every organizer or event allows exchanges.
Please contact the event organizer before disputing a charge with your bank. Most issues are resolved faster that way, and a dispute can delay or prevent a refund the organizer would otherwise approve.
If you cannot reach the event organizer, contact us at info@maingatetickets.com or 713-303-4094 with your order number. We will do our best to connect you with the organizer.
