YCAM 2025 Session 1 Registration

Young Choral Artists of Michigan. Registration is now open! Are you a singer in grades 6-12? Would you like to enroll in a great choir with great supporters and a great director?

Schedule. We rehearse from 7 - 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays beginning September 11. We perform with the CAM concert, Friday, December 5. All rehearsals at Lake Orion Baptist Church.

Why. We serve students: 1) Because of scheduling issues, some students are unable to enroll in a choir, or they are unable to enroll continuously. 2) Some students want an additional choral challenge. These students want to sing in a choir outside of school for social reasons, vocal development, or an additional choral experience. 3) Some schools cannot offer chorus; for example, homeschool students will enroll.

Cost. $105 through Sept 4 at 10p; $115 Sept 4 to start onsite

Thomas Blue, Director. Thomas Blue dedicated 34 years to the choral programs of the Rochester schools. His choirs consistently received excellent ensemble experiences, including performances at the State Capitol, Michigan Opera Theatre, and performances at the Lansing Lugnuts, the Joeffrey Ballet, Ballet MET Cincinnati, Grand Rapids Ballet, with the Detroit Chamber Winds and the Rochester Symphony. The CAM is thrilled to have him leading the YCAM.
